LEAD Against Trafficking was founded after years of watching passionate advocates, faith communities, and nonprofits pour energy into awareness campaigns — only to see legislation stall, loopholes persist, and vulnerable people remain unprotected.
The problem wasn't a lack of concern. It was a lack of connection — between citizens who cared and the lawmakers who could act. LEAD was built to close that gap.

LEAD Against Trafficking
Bryan Carr founded LEAD Against Trafficking with a straightforward conviction: the most powerful force in American democracy is an organized constituency — and that force has never been fully applied to the fight against trafficking.
Bryan's background is in new technology marketing, and through that work he recognized that the anti-trafficking movement had passionate advocates but lacked the infrastructure to translate that passion into sustained legislative pressure.
At the heart of Bryan's motivation is his belief in the doctrine of Imago Dei — that every human being bears the image of God and is therefore worthy of dignity and protection. That conviction was deepened by Tim Tebow's beautiful book Look Again. Bryan resides just outside of Cleveland, Ohio, where he is the proud father of three adult daughters who are the joy of his life. When he's not advancing LEAD's mission, you'll find him pursuing his passions for fitness and desert hiking.
